File a DMCA takedown notice or counter-notice with Zeuxis — designated agent, notice requirements, and repeat-infringer rules

Zeuxis is operated by an individual developer based in the People's Republic of China. Contact: support@zeuxis.app

In this policy, "Zeuxis", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator above. We operate as an online service provider. We respect intellectual-property rights and expect everyone who uses https://zeuxis.app to do the same. We respond to clear notices of claimed copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 ("DMCA"). This page explains how to send a takedown notice, what we do with a valid notice, and how to send a counter-notice.

Designated agent

Send DMCA notices to our designated agent:

  • Email: support@zeuxis.app (subject line: "DMCA Notice")
  • Mail: Zeuxis Copyright Agent, [Registered Street Address], [City, State/Province ZIP], [Country]

The mail address is the physical address of record for the designated agent. Update this block whenever the agent designation changes. Until a physical mailing address is published here, email notices to support@zeuxis.app with the subject line above.

How to file a takedown notice

To be valid, your written notice must include all of the items in 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim was infringed. If several works are covered by your notice, you may list them.
  3. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, with a URL or enough other detail for us to locate it on the service.
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Send the notice to the designated agent above. Incomplete notices may delay processing.

What we do with a valid notice

When we receive a valid notice, we remove or disable access to the reported material, notify the account holder who posted or generated it, and log the event. We may ask the sender for missing information before we act.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe it was misidentified or removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent. A valid counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court for the judicial district of your address (or, if you are outside the United States, of any U.S. federal court where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in not less than 10 and not more than 14 business days.

Misrepresentation warning

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Repeat infringers

We terminate, when appropriate, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of other people's copyrights.
